EurSafe 2015 will be the 12th Congress of the European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics.

We invite you all to submit abstracts. Deadline 1 September 2014. Information about sub-themes etc is available at: http://eursafe2015.usamvcluj.ro/
- Abstracts should be electronically submitted to http://oases.wageningenacademic.com/ using the on-line Wageningen Academic Publishers Online Academic Submission & Evaluation System (Please choose Congress EurSafe 2015). Registration is required for authors that use for the first time the submission and evaluation system (Sign up).
- Abstract should have max. 2500 characters, including title of the paper, authors (s) and affiliation (s).
- Use British English spelling. Linguistic accuracy is the responsibility of the authors.
- For the research papers the abstract must include the following sections: Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results and Discussion; Conclusions; References (max. 5 references).
- For the review papers the authors should emphasis: Introduction; Aims and the main Results of the systematic review or the literature review;
European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics (EurSafe) EurSafe is an independent organisation, which provides a focal point for those who have a professional interest in the ethical issues involved in agriculture and food supply. The Society , founded in 1999, is an interdisciplinary, cross-cultural and non-partisan organisation. EurSafe aims to encourage academic education and research, and international debate on the ethical issues involved in agriculture and food supply.
EurSafe strives to achieve its aims through various activities:
Organising Scientific Conferences (such as the 11th congress in Uppsala Spetmeber 2013, or the 12th EurSafe Congress in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca)
- Organising a communication network for people from professional practice, academic disciplines, social organisations and public administration
- Publishing Newsletters
- Initiating incentive prizes, such as the Vonne Lund Prize for best student paper and poster at the EurSafe Congress
- Promoting visiting fellowships and special professorships at prominent universities
EurSafe consists of both Individual Members from all over Europe, professionals dealing with ethics in the field of agriculture and food supply, and Institutional Members from industry, universities, government departments, research centres, professional organisations and NGO’s. As a member of EurSafe individuals join an ever growing network engaged in discussion of important ethical questions concerning agriculture, food, and animals.
