Agronomist Animal Science: Agronomprogrammet Husdjur 270 hp
An Agronomist in Animal Science works for the farming animals wellfare and production. The education consists of 4.5 years with an option to charge a bachelor’s degree after 3 years or a master’s degree after 5 years.
The students are reading about the animals’ performance and needs and how agriculture can produce food in a sustainable manner. The course includes practical animal husbandry, subjects such as mathematics, statistics, ethology, and the basics of zoobiologi. Also Animal Physiology and anatomy, nutrition, breeding, crop production, balance rural and food included in the program.
